"Somewhere sometime we must have
passed one another like going and coming trains,
with both of us looking the other way."

"We made in those days
tiny identical rooms inside our bodies
which the men who uncover our graves
will find in a thousand years,
shining and whole."

THE PRETTIEST BOOK TO EVER EXIST
Above is the RGB Colorspace Atlas by American artist Tauba Auerbach. An 8x8 hardcover tome that pretty much serves as an encyclopedia of every color in the RGB index. The special binding was co-designed by the artist herself in collaboration with Daniel E. Kelm, and were printed at wide awake garage, an independent bookbinder, with help from Leah Hughes. The Marilyn Monroe of books.

#LFW: MARY KATRANTZOU SPRING/SUMMER 2013
The London Fashion Week SS13 show by Mary Katrantzou is one of our favorites of the season. It was all about the volume of the dresses, masses of fabric of pastel colors mixed with prints of postage stamps and currency (a reference to her home of Greece before the euro?). A close up photo shows the same aesthetics as paper notes, with that metallic print layered on top of a busy surface design. Some were adorned in Swarovski crystals and each garment did not forget Louboutins for the feet. FIRE!
